The core feature of a trolley-type shot blasting machine is a motorized flatbed (trolley) that can freely enter and exit the blast chamber. Workpieces are securely mounted on the trolley, which then travels along a track into the enclosed blast chamber, where it undergoes a rotational shot blasting process. Once the blasting process is complete, the trolley exits the chamber for unloading.
How It Works
Outdoor Loading: Large workpieces to be cleaned (such as large castings, machine bases, etc.) are hoisted onto an outdoor trolley using an overhead crane and secured. This step is performed outside the shot blasting chamber, making it extremely safe and convenient.
Trolley Entry: The trolley is started and smoothly driven along the ground track into the enclosed shot blasting chamber.
Door Closing: Once the trolley is in place, the large door (usually a double-leaf or roller shutter type) of the shot blasting chamber closes automatically or manually to ensure a seal.
Shot Blasting
Trolley Rotation: Once the trolley enters the chamber, its platform begins to slowly rotate (usually driven by its own drive mechanism), driving the workpiece on it at a constant speed.
Multi-Directional Blasting: Multiple high-powered shot blasters mounted on the top and sides of the shot blasting chamber are activated simultaneously, projecting shot at high speed onto the workpiece surface from different angles. The rotation of the workpiece ensures that all surfaces are thoroughly and evenly cleaned.
Shot Circulation And Recovery: Shots and removed impurities pass through the grating at the bottom of the chamber and fall into a spiral conveyor system in a deep pit. They are then hoisted to the shot-sand separator via an elevator. Intact shots are recycled, while dust and waste are separated and discharged.
Purge Cleaning: After the set cleaning time is reached, the shot blaster stops. The trolley stops rotating, and a high-pressure purge device installed inside the chamber activates, sweeping away any remaining shot from the workpiece surface and the trolley.
Trolley Exit And Unloading: The door to the shot blasting chamber opens, and the trolley carrying the cleaned workpieces exits. Operators can then easily unload the shot blasting material outside and prepare for the next round of loading, completing the cycle.

Common Problems And Solutions Of Tabletop Shot Blasting Machine
Frequently Asked Questions about Tabletop Shot Blasting Machine, As precision cleaning equipment, the stability of a desktop shot blasting machine is highly dependent on routine preventative maintenance. After each use, the interior should be briefly cleaned, wearing parts (such as blades, seals, and bearings) should be regularly inspected for wear, and the shot should be kept dry and pure. Establishing good usage habits is the best way to avoid most problems.
