Steel Pretreatment

Application: Before shipbuilding, clean the rust, oxide scale, oil stains, etc. on the steel surface. 

Function: Eliminates surface defects, ensuring quality during subsequent cutting and welding. Improves coating adhesion, extending the corrosion life of the hull. Complies with shipbuilding industry standards (e.g., ISO 8501-1 Sa2.5).

Surface Cleaning

Weld cleaning: remove welding slag and burrs after welding to make the surface smooth.

Segmented rust removal: Shot blast the entire hull segment (such as deck and bulkhead) to reduce manual grinding costs.

Edge treatment: Strengthen the edges of the cut steel plates to reduce stress concentration.

Anti-corrosion treatment

Ballast tanks and oil tanks: After shot blasting to remove rust, spray anti-corrosion paint to prevent seawater corrosion.

Cargo holds and pump rooms: Prepare surfaces to suit special coatings (e.g. wear-resistant, non-slip coatings).

Surface Strengthening

Anchor chains and mooring equipment: Shot blasting strengthens the surface to improve fatigue resistance.

Pipes and valves: Anti-corrosion coating is applied after pretreatment to adapt to the harsh environment of ships.

Deck machinery: Clean and strengthen gears, bearings and other components to extend their service life.
